1. After showering pat the area dry gently, rather than rubbing or buffing.

2. Manage any discomfort with Tylenol.

3. Use sunscreen daily and do not tan the treatment area.

4. If swelling does occur, an ice pack should be wrapped in a cloth and applied to the skin for 10-15 minutes every 4 hours.
