Dr. Peter G. Bittar is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon at Miami Dermatology and Laser Institute (MDLI).

Dr. Bittar completed his undergraduate studies the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended medical school at the Duke University School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his residency training in dermatology at Indiana University, where he served as Chief Resident.

He then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the Yale University School of Medicine, where he received extensive training in the medical and surgical management of high risk skin cancer, facial reconstruction, and cosmetic dermatology. He also served as a faculty member at Yale, teaching residents and medical students the fundamentals of dermatologic surgery.

Dr. Bittar has published several peer-reviewed journals articles and presented both nationally and internationally. He is excited to be joining the team at MDLI, where hopes to give his patients the highest quality of care and attention.
