Free Cosmetic Consultations
and Financing Options

In terms of the costs, we realize that many of our cosmetic dermatology treatments are not covered by most health insurance plans. Therefore, we offer financing through CareCredit® allowing our cosmetic treatments and procedures to be more affordable. We also offer free cosmetic consultations so you can learn which procedures are best for your cosmetic needs

Health Insurance Plans

For medical dermatology treatments and procedures, we accept a wide range of health insurance plans that provide coverage since these treatments are considered necessary to maintain a healthy body and life. Because we see many patients from all over the country, we strive to make the payment and financing process as easy as possible. We help our patients navigate the health care industry to determine if their insurance plans provide coverage and to what extent.

We currently accept most insurance plans from the following providers:

  • Aetna

  • AvMed

  • Blue Cross and Blue Shield

  • Cigna

  • Medicare – except for Medicare HMO Advantage policies

  • United Healthcare

For patients whose insurance plans we do not currently participate with, we offer the option of being seen as a private patient. Additionally, we provide a generous discount for medical services for those patients.

Furthermore, we are excited to offer opportunities to join one of our clinical trials. These trials provide free diagnostics, visits, and medications for certain dermatological conditions. Please inquire with our staff to learn more about eligibility and participation.

We understand that insurance coverage can be complex, and we are committed to providing transparency and assistance to ensure that you receive the care you need. If you have any questions about insurance coverage, the private patient option, clinical trials, or need assistance navigating the billing process, our friendly staff is here to help. Please don't hesitate to contact our office at 305-279-6060 or email us at info@miamidermlaser.com.

Please note that our list of accepted insurances is subject to change. We recommend that you always verify with your health plan to confirm that our dermatologists are in-network providers for your specific insurance plan.
